The arrest and booking
The person is taken to a local police lockup or a county jail, fingerprinted and photographed. This takes a few hours and nobody can be bonded out until it's finished. You can call us during it — we'll start locating them straight away.

Bond gets set
A judge or magistrate sets the bond amount, either at arraignment or from a preset schedule for common charges. Until there's a number, nothing can be posted. We check for you and call you the moment it's set.

You call us
Give us the full name, the facility and the bond amount if you have it. We'll tell you the exact premium, whether collateral is needed, and roughly how long that facility takes to release someone. No charge for the conversation.

Paperwork and payment
A cosigner signs the indemnity agreement and the bond application. This can be done in person at an office, at the jail, or remotely. Card payments and payment plans are both normal here.

The bond is posted
We take the bond to the jail or the court and post it. Our licence and our money stand behind the promise that the defendant will appear.

Release
The facility processes the release. A small district court lockup might take under an hour; a county jail at shift change can take several. We'll tell you honestly what to expect so you're not waiting in a car park guessing.

Every court date, without fail
The bond stays live until the case ends. Miss a date and a bench warrant issues, the bond can be forfeited, and the cosigner becomes liable. Call us before a date is missed and most problems can be fixed quietly.

The case closes
When the case is resolved and all appearances are made, the bond is discharged and the cosigner's obligation ends. Any collateral is returned. The premium is not refunded — that's the fee for the service, and it's the same at every agency in Michigan.
