- arraignment: Weekend and holiday felony arraignments for Wayne County are conducted at the 3rd Circuit Court, located in the same Criminal Justice Center complex.
- jurisdiction: Wayne County Sheriff's Office adult detention facility (approx. 2,500 capacity) for pretrial detainees and sentenced inmates from all Wayne County courts. Current intake location is the Criminal Justice Center at 5301 Russell St (between E. Warren Ave and E. Ferry St, off the I-75 service drive), which replaced the former downtown jail divisions.
