Welcome to the Shelby Township District Court 

In 1968, the Legislature in Lansing established District Courts in Michigan to help relieve the overcrowded State Circuit Court. The Shelby Township District Court is one of approximately 100 district courts in Michigan and is the court that most people have contact with. Our court is committed to providing fair, timely, and impartial judicial services to all individuals who come before us. 

Our Services 

The Shelby Township District Court handles the following matters:

  • Criminal Cases: Hearing criminal cases, including misdemeanors.
