Arraignments

Misdemeanor arraignments Monday-Friday at 9:00 a.m. in Room 1067 (sign in at Room 1020 by 8:30 a.m.). Felony arraignments conducted by video from Detroit Police precincts/headquarters at 12:00 noon and 2:00 p.m. Monday-Friday; magistrate sets bond and preliminary exam date. Weekend and holiday felony arraignments are conducted at the 3rd Circuit Court.

Posting bond

Bond may be posted at the 36th District Court Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (Criminal Division Room 120, (313) 965-5029). After hours, bond is posted at the Wayne County Jail (5301 Russell St). Cash bonds may also be posted at Detroit police precinct stations immediately following a misdemeanor arrest.

After hours, post bond at the Wayne County Jail. A 24-hour drop box near the exit is available for ticket payments.
